London-bandet Sid Sings er tilbake på Café Magente etter at de gjorde stor suksess og ble snakkis sist de var på besøk. Gjett om vi gleder oss til gjensyn med Nikki og guttene 😀

It seemed inevitable that front woman Nikki would end up with a Band inspired by Blues and Punk when as a child her first gig was seeing John lee Hooker and then as a teenager John Lydon chatted to her whilst she was upside down filming a TV series.
On a mission to find someone who saw the world as she did Nikki found Scottish Guitarist Sandy Michie through an advertisement in Melody Maker. Sandy was immersed in the Indie World but his passion for slide guitar made a perfect fit and Sid Sings was born.
They sometimes perform a stripped down set with just guitar and voice and then when the pounding of drums is required they have an Italian drummer who will put his espresso and grappa on hold to perform with them.
They have had songs on the Radio, songs on films and even a song playlisted on mainstream French Radio with it being played between Madonna and Justin Bieber. No mean feat for a Blues Infused Combo.
They have shared the stage with The Jim Jones Revue ,Hugo Race and The Fatalists , Mama Roisin , Yat Kha , Nine Below Zero, Eli Paperboy Reed ,Johnnie Bassett and Ten Years After. They have even supported Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler from The Jam at The Forum London.
Festivals have included Guilfest, Gold Coast Ocean festival, Nozstock , Avant Garde Blues Festival Italy and Cognac Blues Passions Festival in France where they were named band of the day and stars of the nu–blues. The press described their performance as mind blowing.
They have toured Italy, Austria, Portugal and France.
Sid Sings have no game plan other than to keep performing for anyone who want’s to hear them.
